Billy Gibbons says there IS a new ZZ Top album in the works!  Billy, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard all still live in Texas and on this project they’re working with legendary producer Rick Rubin who lives and works out of Los Angeles, so Gibbons says the new record is getting influences from both Texas and California, and it may include a song that the band first started working on when they first formed in the early 70’s! He didn’t reveal a title or anything else about the song except to say that after all this time they are hoping to finish it to include it on the new album. We’ll keep you posted on a release date.
